Skin has two layers, the dead skin layer and the live skin layer. As the dead skin dries, it loses most of its volume and contracts. Since all cells are interconnected with each other, the contraction contorts the skin into wrinkles. Applying moisturizers for face maintenance prevent these types of wrinkles. Various creams are available in the internet and other shops.
